History:
Takrin Medar woke up one day to find that he didn't know who he was or where he had come from. He remembered everything else, though. He knew he was mad. That's what everyone said, wasn't it? Men who use the tainted Power go mad, right? His anger was quick, and his eyes cast an almost insane look. What he didn't know was that he was simply acting like everyone thought he should.
It was in Caemlyn when his anonymous life changed. Using his "madness" and his untrained abilities with Saidin, Takrin made his life as a covert mercenary... a soldier for hire. In an insane fury over a lost client, Takrin trashed an entire Inn. His anger and reputation made him known in the underbelly of Caemlyn as someone you do not cross. Young though he was, Takrin was a dangerous adversary and an unstable ally.
The destruction of the Inn brought the attention of two travelling Aes Sedai. One male and one female from the Tower Chasaline in Tar Valon. Upon seeing the emotionally distraught young man, the two shielded him and offered to help him calm down and train his abilities so that they might reduce the amount of Saidin taint he retained.
Takrin scoffed at their offer. No one could help him, his reply was. Everyone knew the taint made every man mad, no matter how much training they had. Unwilling to leave such an unstable channeler free to wreak what havoc he may, the two kept him shielded and physically took him to Tar Valon against his will.
Personality:
Takrin Medar is extremely unstable (currently). Though the taint has not yet touched him in such a way, he felt he should just go with the flow and be what everyone expected him to be. An insane male channeler. In addition to that, he feels that since he's "insane" he has no need for tact or manners or kindness. He is crude, rude, and devilishly charming when he wants to be.
Physical Appearance:
Takrin's dark blonde hair has a tint of red in it. His slightly tanned skin, while not perfect, goes well with his roguishly handsome smile. His dark blue eyes shine with mischief and madness. He is of average height for a man, though his imposing personality seems to lend him even more height. He is lean, but surprisingly muscular enough to handle a heavy sword with ease.
