Warder in Training

History:

    Born to an Atha'an Miere and an Altaran innkeeper, Venora lived aboard ship learning the trade for ten years. At that time, her mother decided that the girl should help out at the inn, so she came to Altara to live for eight more years in Ebou Dar. She enjoyed the work at the inn, but soon began to feel its confines. As she was reaching marriageable age, her mother kept a closer eye on her, but Venora wasn't interested in following the innkeep's footsteps. Instead, she was more into the stories she'd heard of Aes Sedai, and more specifically, the Warders. Venora had always been diligent in the defense of her person, but wanted to expand her fighting skills, so one night when the fog swirled thickly about the docks the dark girl slipped out and began the long trek to the Tower of Chasaline.
Overly familiar with knives, she uses a bamboo staff and knows rudimentary hand-to-hand combat. Has a strong aversion to swords.

    
Physical Appearance:

    Diminutive but well-muscled, Venora has dark skin like her father, and the tattoos of her clan. Her jet-black hair is styled into many tiny plaits above a determined face with slanted blue eyes.


Personality:

    Determined to the point of obstinate, she is not one to put herself forward but once she enters a friendship she shows herself to be a trustworthy out-going companion.
