The Red Ajah's purpose is no longer what it was in the days before the Towers combiened. Where once the Red Ajah sought and Gentled male channelers, now they seek instead a cure for the Taint. They still try to find male Channelers, but Gentle as a last resort, now they first try to bring such the the Tower for training.
