The Subaru body was a bit larger than the chassy which made it smaller, but it still looks nice. It still does not have decals and such large manufacture logos. | |
I custom made some of the parts using Autocad. Relocated the receiver, changed server orientation, replaced side splash pannels with 3/8" plastic. Replaced plastic server mounts with aluminum screw posts. Front bumper made of aluminum sheet with computer package foam, all duct taped together wich mounts to the front bulk head. Suspension springs covered with a black balloon to protect from debris. O.S .15 10e slide valve. Futaba radio Trinity battery. MIP temp gauge. |
|
I placed screws for the suspention adjustments and lowered the car and slapped street wheels on for an asfault track. Crossed refrenced with Kyosho and found clipless body posts. No more nasty clips to loose. The rear bulk head had grooves and hole for mounting a sway bar. Look carefully and see my rear sway bar attached with Losi mounts. |

Many hours spent designing parts surly opened my eyes to machinical engineering. | Maybe post some of my own AutoCAD drawings. |

I bought my $30 first computer after 5 years of using company loaned hardware. And spent long nights installing Winblows XP for the first time. Inventor 7 is now up and running along with AutoCAD 2004.. more to come!
