Fistandantilus was an insanely powerful mage that lived in the pre-catalysmic era. Fistandantilus was very evil and dreamed of becoming a god. He was killed in an accident while trying to enter the Abyss in his pursuit of godhood. His spirit survived through the ages seeking a new body to inhabit. He found that body in the form of Raistlin Majere. Fistandantilus's spirit aided Raistlin in his test to become a mage and therefore gained a foothold into Raistlins soul. He used Raistlin and lured him back in time to try and possess Raistlins body, with the use of a magical item known as the bloodstone. Fistandantilus had his attempt thwarted when Raistlin stole the stone and used it on him first. Fistandantilus lived much longer than any human could naturally through the use of the bloodstone by taking the bodies of his young apprentices. Fistandantilus was a mysterious and plotting individual with a lust for power and an evil that was almost palpable.
