Palin Majere is the son of Caramon and Tika. He had two older brothers named Tanin and Sturm and two younger sisters named Laura and Dezra. He was named after the god Paladine. He is very intelligent and loved his brothers very much. His parents were against his aspirations of becoming a mage because they feared his meeting a similar fate to his uncle Raistlin Majere. He disproved this beliefg when he successfuly completed his test at the Tower of High Sorcery in Palanthus. mysteriously Palin was given his uncles staff by one of the towers guardians after passing his test. The staff had remained sealed in the labratory for the 25 years since Raistlin's sacrafice and supposed death. Palins brothers who had become Knights of Solamnia were killed in battle and Palin was taken prisoner by Steel Brightblade, the son of hes deceased aunt Kitiara Uth Matar and the Solamnic knight Sturm Brightblade, who was an evil Knight of Takhisis. Following his orders Steel took Palin to the Tower of High Sorcery in Palanthus and forced him to enter the Abyss in search of his uncle Raistlin. Palin succeded in finding Raistlin and brought him back to Krynn just in time to help fight the Chaos war. Palin then met a woman named Usha, who was claiming to be Raistlin's daughter, and fell in love with her. Palin became one of Krynns greatest heroes for his help in defeating Chaos. When he cast a very powerful spell of the great war wizard Magius during the battle of the rift. Palin was one of only two survivors of this battle. Along with the other members of the last conclave he unravelled the mystery of spellcasting in the Fifth Age and founded the Academy of Sorcery to teach these methods to others. Palin now has a son named Ulin who is a part of the Academy and a daughter named Linsha that has achieved the status of a Knight of Solamnia.
