Season Three

The story so far: Angel Investigations is in disarray. Winifred 'Fred' Burkle and Charles Gunn are now on their own, unwitting of the fact that their employer and boss was last seen being sealed into a metal coffin and dropped beneath the surface of the waves by his son, Connor, who believed he was seeing vengeance for the death of his adoptive father, Daniel Holtz. In actual fact it was Connor's accomplice in this mission, Justine Cooper, who killed Holtz, and made it look like Angel's fault. Meanwhile, Cordelia Chase, shortly after discovering that she had fallen in love with Angel, was offered an opportunity to serve a higher purpose and ascended to a new plane of existence, apparently to Heaven. The only other former member of the team, Wesley Wyndam-Price, is currently persona non grata at the office since he betrayed Angel and stole his son, at the time believing it to be the right thing to do to save the child. In actual fact Wesley was taken in by a false prophecy, and as thanks had his throat slashed by Justine. During his recovery from this, Lilah Morgan from Wolfram & Hart attempted to win him over to work at her firm of evil lawyers. So far Wesley has refused the job offer, although not Lilah's sexual advances. Now Gunn and Fred must attempt to get the team back together, but dangers still lurk in the dark streets of LA, some new, but some horribly familiar…
