A Jaridian probe crashes to Earth, and the Resistance recover it. However, Liam, Augur and Julia are soon captured by a government group set up to protect against the Taelons, and led by a certain Colonel Liam Kincaid.
There's plenty going on in this episode, but much of it seems to be set-up and no pay-off. Most of the regulars get a chunk to do, as the characters move around once more. Lili gets Da'an's help for the first time, Sandoval warns Lili to be careful, and also seems increasingly suspicious of Liam. Meanwhile, the real Liam is introduced, along with the returning device of a Jaridian probe.
It's good that the writers didn't resort to another episode trying to destroy one of these probes, as this has now happened all too frequently. The twist in the tale is an interesting one, allowing for some follow-up further down the line, and hopefully the return of Colonel Kincaid. It does seem to take rather too long to get there.
Despite all the questioning, Liam's true identity is not revealed to anyone (and there's no real reason he can't tell Julia), and so the extended interrogation/capture scenes do wear a bit thin. There's some good material here, but there could have been more, and in the end everything is much the same as it was before.
