LEXX: 769

790 strikes a deal with Prince to get a new body and some equipment to use on Kai. Meanwhile, Prince plots to acquire the LEXX key and take over the ship, over the dead bodies of the crew.

Following on from the last episode, what we have here is more messing around while the show tries to work out where it's going next. This story seems to have a lot of playing for time going on, as if they're trying to pad things out a bit. Basically, it all revolves around everyone wanting almost everyone else dead and no one actually going through with it.

Priest's meeting in his office seem to be time fillers, 790's plan doesn't get him any further than he's ever managed before, making it all a waste of time, and there's simply too many times where someone stops doing something just as it looks like it's about to happen. The only real plus point is the continuation of the mystery surrounding Prince, as he is finally killed by Kai and disappears. Will he be back, and if so as who?

We also thankfully get someone intelligent enough to work out where the LEXX key has gone, but as it merely transfers round a few people again, as it has many times before, we still don't make any progress, especially when it ends up with a moth breeder once again. It's time this season moved on a step again.
