Jordan takes a violent dislike to a new boy at her school, and her father, who she says is evil. As she begins to get worse and worse visions, Frank realizes there is more going on than first appeared.
Now this is the kind of episode you need to come back to and watch again. There have been several stories about Jordan inheriting Frank's 'gift' up to now, but none have shown the disturbing side-effects for a young girl, or dealt with the subject as well as in this episode. Agent Hollis has apparently not been let in on Frank's intuition either, and Frank is determined that she remain ignorant of it here. This keeping of secrets is the sort of thing that could drive a wedge into their relationship.
There's some creepy stuff here, with Jordan and Frank's visions, the set of eyes that remain unexplained, and just who is responsible for what is going on, with events cleverly keeping the viewer on the hop. Also, after Lucy Butler's warning to Frank in Antipas, it seems her threats are warranted, with Jordan's life turning into a constant nightmare, well brought out by Brittany Tiplady.
The story's conclusion doesn't make things totally clear, but this seems to be the norm in episodes like this, and it does leave some interesting angles to explore later on. Everything kind of fits together, but some of the dialogue is rather rushed over, and there are still some unknowns left. The series appears to be building towards something, and if the millennium is a time of great evil and it's fast approaching, I'd love there to be another year of this show, just to see how they deal with it all, or indeed see some of these events to be taken up in the last few episodes of this year.
