Highlander: The Raven: 'War and Peace'

An Immortal with a grudge tries to take Liam's head for something the priest did 200 years previously.

You've got to give Immortals credit for their persistence. I mean, 200 years is a ridiculous length of time to be holding a grudge and not to have done anything about it. Still, this is another strong episode as the season nears its end, showcasing the wonderful Robert Cavanah as the well-written character of Liam Riley, one of the most watchable aspects of the second half of the season, as Lucy was to the first half.

On top of this, the story continues the season's theme of Amanda making decisions for other people, believing it is for the best, only to have the results come back to bite her in the present. Some great playing from Cavanah, Gracen and Johansson make this a very touching episode, coupled with a truly astonishing final stand-off at the denouement that makes a memorable tableau. If anything, Immortal Sean is not well developed, but that's a small criticism of a tightly-written character story, that rates among the show's best.
