Cade joins a group of people who believe they have been abducted by aliens to try to find the truth behind their experiences.
Starting off with two people having sex (as seems to be the prerequisite for this show, although you still don't get any full-frontal nudity), Hypnotic is a story that keeps you guessing about the alien influence. Once Cade realizes all the abduction experiences are different, he must find out who is behind the visions and fits that keep occurring among the group.
The answer, when it comes, is nicely worked out, with a last minute series of twists that keeps you on the hop trying to work out who is responsible for everything that is happening. The abduction scenarios are well realized, with some quite creepy editing, and the cast are attractive enough that you're not sure who is an alien! One question though: where did Cade get a mobile phone from all of a sudden?
