Jim Bob - a Wraith with a BIG gun

In life, Jim Bob was a clean-living, god-fearing farmer. He was the sort of person for whom the phrase "salt of the earth" was coined - in other words hard, square and bad for your health if abused. Jim Bob raised and herded cattle - a tough job for a tough man. Then he hit bad times. Rumours spread of an illness affecting cattle that could be passed to humans - and vegetarian cuisine became popular locally.

Profits failed - and Jim Bob turned to cultivating crops to supplement his livestock income - but couldn't afford to properly maintain the heavy equipment needed. One day a support failed, and Jim Bob fell to his death in a combine harvester. His livestock was sold en masse to a burger franchise.

Jim Bob's long-suppressed anger at vegetarians and his desire to protect his family anchored him in the Deadlands. His first manifestation came in the meat locker of the nearest burger franchise, among burgers made from his cattle.

At the time, spectres were constructing a hive-like structure in the center of Chicago, near Jim Bob's new Haunt. Marauding shades were hunting through the surrounding buildings for victims and Jim Bob delighted in the righteous anger that possessed him as he brought forth the relic of the blunderbuss he had had with him when he died.

Free of the spectres, Jim Bob wandered through the city until he recognised family features on the face of a man in a dingy bar on Chicago's Southside - a man who saw past the Veil and recognised him. That man was Brad Duarbend.

Jim Bob specialised in Gremlinizing machinery - which made him particularly useful to the Arc as he was the only 'person' who had driving skills. He was also able to learn how to physically manifest himself for brief moments - which helped him bypass wards against immaterial spirits on more than one occasion. He thrived on rage and anger against an ugly world - and so enjoyed winding up the Garou members of the Arc by whispering barely-audible insults in their earshot. His favourite target was Agrish
He disappeared while infiltrating Tiamat's tomb - his corpus shredded by a magical construct resembling a skeltal wolf-man. He has yet to re-emerge from any of his fetters...
