Mundford was the name taken by this brilliant powerhouse of a young man when he was Embraced by Elzbieta of the Chicago Nosferatu. Elzbieta never explained her actions on finding the young man as he lay dying from a stab wound. Mundford never asked.
For much of his early years, Mundford was a close ally of the Chicago Anarchs, and a thorn in the side of his sometime friend, Ryan, who worked with him during the crisis of the Poison Man.
Mundford was massive in size, and was highly adept at Obfuscation and Animalism - twin Disciplines which he used both to gather information for Khalid - leader of the Chicago Warrens - and to torment his enemies. Mundford was also renowned for his off-the-wall humour, which typically ran to practical joking which rivalled many of the pranks of local Malkavians. Examples were such actions as:
- Draining a dog, coating it with epoxy glue and throwing it off the top of a building onto Prince Lodin's favourite limousine as it crossed mid-town traffic
- Breeding a ghoul-tapeworm in his own intestinal tract which he then used Animalism on to make it wave its head at people from the back of his throat as he yawned
- Breeding a "tunnel pig" with the right hand pair of legs shorter than the other so that when it ran it would attempt to run around the circumference of sewer tunnels
- Mailing Prince Lodin's favourite ghouls back to him in large paper bags
Mundford was also an accomplished inventor and physicist, working with lasers in an attempt to create a working laser blaster similar to those used in "Star Wars". Reports on his success are sketchy, though the wraith Jim-Bob allegedly encountered a large ugly man in the sewers of Chicago recently who had a backpack-powered beam weapon that prompted Jim Bob to run away very quickly...
