My Paintings

by Stan Wilcox

Below are some of my paintings from over the years. I hope you enjoy them. Please ask permission if you are thinking of using any of these images on a web site, not that I think people will necessarily, but I would like to know, if for no other reason than to be really happy that someone was at all interested in using my work elsewhere :-) My e-address is raeswald@yahoo.com, in case the icon below doesn't work. Thanks for checking out this site. Come back periodically, I hope to have other pages of works to show you.

Since I first posted this site in 1997 I have lost all the paintings on this site. I won't go into how, but they are lost. At least I have this record to show that they excisted. Who ever got them got several years of my work for free. Not that the person who made this happen cares about that at all. Oh well, I'm painting new paintings now, and hope to have some of them up here someday. I think my art definately falls into the category of Outsider Art. I guess technically someone else is supposed to call it that first, but I don't know what else to call it. I have one year of college art training. I'm not professional, but I have a passion for painting, that is whenever I'm not writing or composing or playing my harp. I have two new paintings in an amature show in Englewood. There are some very nice works there from local amature artists. Some are quite good I think. Enjoy your virtual tour through my little gallery. Thanks for stopping by. Check out some of my MIDI compositions too at the above site. Take care. Stan May 2006

(I appologise for the poems, a few of them anyway. They were written during a very dark part of my life, my life before I became Catholic. I hope those who were offended by them will realize that I don't write that way now, and I didn't write that way too often in the past. I forgot those poems were on that site).

That's all there was of the book, I never finished it. The writing is not that great, but it is still a part of me, a part of my heart and who I am. I felt there were some who wanted to read the rest, so here it is. Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my work. That means a lot to me.

I'll put up more chapters later, for those who haven't read this piece. I wanted this site to show all my old work. This work is much better than my poems, although those poems are very representative of the poems I've written across the years. My mistake, please forgive me.
