Gerry's Biography

The Present

I live in Columbia, SC - the second best place to live if you can't get out of SC ;). I'm presently a full time student at the School of Music at USC, Columbia. I'm also a part-time faculty member with the Department of Mathematics. I am frequently seen juggling, and should be seen practicing my horn (or any other instrument) more frequently.

The Past

Probably better described as Background Information.

I graduated Valedictorian from Tift Co. High School, Tifton, GA. Four years later, I received my B.S. in Mathematics, magna cum laude, from Georgia Southern University. Click here for a photo of some of us in "typical" Georgia weather. I was graduated from the Department of Mathematics at the University of South Carolina, receiving a MS in Math in December 1996.

I've lived most of my years in Georgia. And no matter where in Georgia you think about, I've either lived there (or very close by) or visited there enough times to count.

The Future

I'm hoping to stay in school, this time to earn a BA in Music. And if all goes well with that, I'm hoping to find a career in computer music and studio work. Or in the gaming industry. Or both. (Both?)

Opinions and Personal Philosophy

And it hurt none, do what thou wilt (Wiccan Law).

Do what thou wilt, so long as you would still be happy if everyone did as you do. (Wiccan Prisoner's Law :-).
Lack of common sense will not be remedied by any amount of labels, warnings, laws, or lawsuits.
