But hey, I was going to do that . . .
After I discovered I had Web access, one of my first projects was going to be a series of pages devoted to dragons--their anatomy and physiology, lifestyles, eating habits, myths and legends, a natural history, any recent sightings, and the like. Unfortunately, I soon discovered that I was far from being the first with this idea. However, I was spared a lot of coding! So instead I made a small (and still growing) list of my favorite sites. Yeah, many others have done this, too. But this one is different. This one is mine.
Unfortunately, I was not blessed with having been born a dragon,
nor can I trace my linage to one (at least, not yet). I have, however,
been told that, somewhere trapped inside this human body, a dragon is struggling
to get out. Until he finds his way out (I'm working on it as fast as I
can!), I have the pleasure of sharing their company, which, considering
when I was born, is not surprising.
And since I seem to attract dragons of all sorts, I decided to share some
of the ones I've come across.
If you know of any other good pages, please let
me know.
And finally, some parting words from Drakon the Red:
To welcome a Dragon... is to welcome good luck!
'Tis true.. For warm hospitality never goes unpaid! .. especially to a Dragon of Generosity..(such as myself...)
It's not too often that we Dragons find one that truly posses the spirit of the Dragon.. and although the physical form may not reflect the body.. The true nature of the spirit will shine through and overcome the physical shell... If the spirit lives inside... then you shall posess the strength to endure the most difficult trails... and the ability to enjoy to the fullest.... the success of your ventures..
.......
I must rest now... For a Dragon's work is never done... So much has been accomplished... so much left undone...
And so.. I offer thee.. companionship in return for the same. For solitude is a lonely life - may we never be forced to endure it!
