The Round Table Gaming Society

Interests:

We play everything, so show up to play or bring something yourself.

  • Role-playing from just about any system
  • Cards (collectible and usual)
I myself am up to 16 collectible card games, including: Spellfire, Wyvern, Sim City, Hyborean Gates, Legend of the Five Rings, Fantasy Adventures, Jyhad, Star Trek, Galactic Empires, Illuminati NWO, Blood Wars, Towers in Time, Guardians, Overpower, Quest For The Grail, and (oh yeah) last--and certainly least, Magic: The Gathering. Still, I'd rather play Bridge or Hearts . . .
  • Boardgaming ("classics" (Monopoly, Scrabble, etc.), train (Empire Builder and variants, 18xx, Rail Baron, etc.), Illuminiati, Cosmic Encounter, Civilization, Empires In Arms, Republic of Rome)
  • And a couple of "homemade systems," including the now-available Principia Chaotica, from
    Monolithic Games

And new for Fall '96: Anime Hell. Well, not really, I just needed to call it something. All this... provided we can get the room, the VCR, the TV, and the tapes together all at the same time.

Meetings are every Saturday while classes are in session, in the USC Russell House Student Union, Room 315, from noon until whenever... If for some reason we are not to be found there, we usually migrate to the LeConte building, Room 112. Membership is $1 a semester, but with this goes a few benefits. Of course, anyone is welcome to show up and just play for free (But come on, it's only a dollar...).

Once a year, Round Table, along with Etihliw Productions, Inc., holds its yearly convention, Round Con.
