The last time it was published was in a book(let) of songs called Ullapool, compiled by Valerie & Tom Bryan. Sub-titled = The Music of Lochbroom and Coigach - Past & Present. This was from Drumruinie Press in 1988. ISBN = 1-870486-05-6
The book had 16 songs, 11 in Gaelic, and four of them from Donald Ross, including this one.

In the version I was given, the word in the first verse, third line, is shown as bàigh. MacLennan's Dictionary shows bàidh for affection. In Dwelly's, they refer one to the bàidh in one of the entries for bàigh. I suspect one is an older form of the same thing.
