"Lonely Among Us" brings the Enterprise to the Beta Renner system where the to pick up delegations from the Anticans and Selay and transport them to Pacifica for a diplomatic conference. The Anticans and Selay had been at odds for many years.

This is one mission for which I have no real justification for the choice of affiliations who can attempt it except for that in gameplay situations they are the ones who would benefit most from this mission. These affiliations all have quite a few missions that have V.I.P. as a requirement and this would fit in well with any one of those decks. It fits well along side Diplomatic Conference (from the same episode) and Archanis Dispute for the Klingons and the Cardassians and Bajorans have Security Briefing which requires several V.I.P.s too. Obviously the two Non-Aligned V.I.P.s are supposed to represent the Anticans and Selay but making them requirements seemed a bit unbalanced for gameplay so I made it any V.I.P.s, but if you use the ones from the episode you get a bonus. (This is another mission that references cards not in the game but they don't affect this card enough for me to place them in this article, dream card versions do appear on the dream card section of this site. Check them out: Badar N'D'D and Ssestar.) Other than that there's not too much to be said about this mission.
