Besides the ridiculous scenario with the Pakleds, "Samaritan Snare" carried a B-plot in which Picard has to have his artificial heart replaced. That procedure occurred at Starbase 515, a planetside base in the Scylla Sector.

In order to complete this important surgery which may save a personnel's life you need an extremely competent medical staff, one with a cunning greater than 40. On average this is going to take you five or six doctors to complete. A pile of PADDs for reference may aid them in the procedure. Or you can get the cream of the crop specialist, Dr. Pulaski, to come in for the event as she did in the show. This gives the second season doctor a chance to shine as well as providing another easy single bridge crew mission. The results are not only a nice 30 points but a way to resurrect someone you lost earlier in the game. The procedure has to be done with in a turn though so time is of the essence. With this you could save a victim who died in glorious battle by rushing to a hospital. Or you could resurrect the Tasha Yar killed by Armus in the same mission attempt. Of course these high quality hospitals are not limited to the Federation, any affiliation can have easy access to similar facilities.
