The Continuing Voyages... #53

Upon the discovery of the 1,000-year-old Promellian Battle Cruiser, Cleponji, Picard and his crew are drawn into the same "Booby Trap" which caught the ancient ship years ago. Unfortunately Picard was forced to destroy the relic before it could be displayed at the annex on Astral V.

Empty Cleponji OR Phoenix OR Vulcan Lander OR Bajoran Solar-Sail Vessel OR any or icon ship here
You may seed one of the above listed ships here but it may not move during this game.

Any crew may attempt. 25 points, span 5

This mission is a very unique one. It is open to any affiliation who might be interested in visiting such a museum. All that you need to do the mission is a ship to look at, sounds pretty easy. There is quite an assortment of ships to choose from with every Alpha Quadrant species represented except Cardassian and Ferengi who could always enjoy a Non-Aligned vessel. The only catch is that the ship has to be empty: it's on display at this famous museum, not galavanting about the galaxy attempting missions and defending against armadas. There's nothing though to stop you from flying two ships over, beaming the crew off of your Starship Enterprise to gawk at it for the time it takes a few dilemmas to pass and then return to fly her off to another mission. Some of those ship's have pretty piddly RANGES, the Phoenix is notorious for it's one RANGE, but don't worry, you can stare at it too, the mission's special text allows it to seed there (though it can't move, not that it'd be able to) and it's worth 10 extra points for having it in orbit. That would be very helpful in bringing the un-AMS-able mission up to 35 points. When visiting the Starship Museum I'd watch out for a Lack of Preparation/Borg Ship combo which will lure your precious old ships here and then blow them to smitherines; you couldn't even have crew aboard to boost their shields, so be sure to stock Hugh or two. Which brings up the fact that the Borg will probably enjoy clearing this sector since most decks will probably shy away from the low attributes on these ancient ships.
Please comment, and let me know if you can come up with any other ancient ships that I should add to the list.

Thanks,

Captain Targ
