Sideswipe nods, "You think they might have something?" Perceptor looks back towards Sideswipe and says, "Your weapons are damaged beyond repair. Even if they could be repaired, their effectiveness would be significantly reduced." Sideswipe looks a bit sad, "But these guys have been with me through EVERYTHING!!!" Sideswipe mutters to himself, "Stupid Galvatron.... Perceptor explains, "I am searching the weapons models available through a Monacus reseller. Because I have a departure to Mars awaiting, this method should be quicker in getting a finished product to you." Perceptor blinks, "They are weapons, Sideswipe. Piece of metal. Such a strong attachment is illogical." Sideswipe nods, "Whatever it takes. I just need to get back OUT there. How can the Autobots even stand up to the cons without me?" Sideswipe quickly adds, "They can't!" Perceptor glances over towards the wrecked weapons on the table, "What is the photon modulation on your laser cells?" Perceptor looks to Sideswipe for an answer, but receiving none, gets up from the monitor and walks over to examine the bent blaster. Sideswipe looks at Perceptor, "Thats your problem. Too much logic, not enough fun..." *Stops and turns to his weapons.* "Like I know! I just use my toys. This techno-garble is for brainiacs like you!" Perceptor unscrews the power unit casing and removes it from the laser. He rotates it slowly as he examines the information labeled on its side. Perceptor glances towards the screen and then asks Sideswipe, "What exact characteristics would you like in a replacement?" Sideswipe quickly jumps towards Perceptor, "HEY! Don't dissect them. They're my buds!" Perceptor says sharply, "If you want my assistance in finding a replacement, allow me to conduct the neccessary procedures." Sideswipe nods, "OK Percy. Just be nice!" Sideswipe stops and thinks, "Characteristics?" Sideswipe says, "Well. I want them to look nice." Perceptor repeats his query, "What characteristics? Size, power base, beam size, and so on." Perceptor takes the power cell with him as he walks back over to the monitor and sits down. Sideswipe says, "The rifle needs to be quite accurate, as does the Rocket-launcher. Tracking Decepticon jets isn't the easiest thing in the world!" Sideswipe follows Perceptor to the screen. Sideswipe stops, "Just make them so they look like my old ones, but give my blaster a little more kick. I think it was loosing some of it's umph in it's old age." Perceptor nods and enters some information into the computer. As he does so he says, "Low misfire theta angle...small charge battery...there should be a few within acceptable qualifications." Sideswipe says, "Poor guy." Sideswipe says, "They were both about the right size and weight. If you changed that any, it just wouldn't FEEL normal. Know what I mean?" Sideswipe looks at some of the choices on the screen, and points to one, "That one looks good! It reminds me of my old one!" Sideswipe looks at the 'techno-garble', "Is it stronger?" Perceptor looks towards several images on the screen. He turn back towards Sideswipe and says, "Here are a few models with similar qualities to your old weapons. Their power cells are more powerful, so there will be a slightly increased strain on your energon, but their weight and size are almost an exact match. Please examine these..." Perceptor looks towards the data under the image and says, "The Ophid 78-345576-QA9, according to this information. It is manufactured directly at Monacus and is readily available for shipment. It has a multi-celled power system which provides significantly strong blast impace." Sideswipe nods, "That'll work. I can just stop for a few cubes every now and again." Perceptor nods and looks towards the screen, "You will have to travel to Monacus to pick up the device yourself, but there should be no problems obtaining it." Sideswipe smiles, "Percy. You're awesome! Thanks bud. I'll miss my old toys, but having new ones never hurts... Well, except maybe the cons!" Perceptor smiles slightly and asks, "You need a new rocket launcher as well?" Sideswipe looks back at his old one, frowns a bit and turns back, "Guess so. My old toy isn't exactly going to do anybody any good any more..." Perceptor glances over towards the launcher and says, "I presume there shall be similar weapons available as well. Let me check." Perceptor turn back towards the monitor and searches through another large list of weapons manufacturers. He selects several launcher models and displays them on the screen. Sideswipe looks carefully at the large list, frowning at the size of some, the high energy intake of others, and simply the ugly look of still others. Then he spots one that to him, looks like perfection. He quickly points, "THAT ONE!!!" Perceptor points towards one of the images and says, "This model contains a concussive-force tip, which will help to provide a stronger impact in addition to the blast radius. The rockets are slightly heavier, but their extra firepower is favorable." Sideswipe looks as they both seem to point to the same one at the same time, "Yup. That's the one!!" Perceptor nods and searches the availability information. Perceptor turns around to Sideswipe and smiles, "It is in stock and one has been reserved in your name. You may use the same identification code as for the laser blaster." Perceptor asks, "Is there anything else which you need to have ordered?" Sideswipe smirks, "A cannon?" Perceptor chuckles slightly and says, "Weapons that strong are not available on a general market." Sideswipe looks a bit disappointed, "Ah well. So whats my identification code?" Perceptor disconnects from the manufacturer network and switches off the monitor. He stands up and turns around to Sideswipe, "Your energon signature will be used." Sideswipe nods, "Thanks again Percy. You're a good bot. You just need to have a bit more fun sometimes!" Perceptor smiles slightly and says, "You are quite welcome. Perhaps after I return from my research leave on Mars I will examine the validity of your suggestion." Sideswipe softly punches Perceptor on the arm, "Enjoy life! Live it up! Chase some femmes!" Sideswipe grins again. Perceptor blinks in response to Sideswipe's strange comments. ---------------------LOG ENDS - STATISTICS----------------
