Who woulda thunk it!?!

I have indeed fliped head over heals for the most wonderful man on the planet earth. I'm of course talking about Bill Nye, the Science Guy. *lol* I'M KIDDING, JON!

Jon hates when I pull stuph like that.

Ok, to get on with it, 1997, July (10 through the 17th in fact) I went to Tucson, Arizona to meet the love of my life, for the first time. Now I'm not gonna sugest that you all go get on a chat line and meet someone and then spend a whole bunch of money going to meet them because you think they are wonderful and all that jazz... I'm not saying that at all...

In fact, if you are going to do something like this, you should be very careful. Now I had been talking to Jon on this dang computer internetty thingie for almost a year before I met him in person, and I had spent countless hours on the phone with him and his little brother.

Joe and Jon

Since early May '97 Jon and I realized that we were very much in love with each other. I even wrote a poem about it. I was very nervous to meet him in person. I mean, what if we weren't what we expected? That's a concideration too... but my worrying was unnessesary. He was everything I could have ever hoped for and more.

So we met in the meat world, and it was wonderful and saddly enough *snif* I had to go home. However this story does have a happy ending! After much visiting and emailing we finally managed to get married. But that is getting ahead of the story... To read about (and see pictures from) that first trip to Tucson, click here.

Jon, of course, has his own page about the two of us, and if you would like a little more detail about our romance he has provided it. It's very sweet... please read it.

Ok, so that's the stuph... but this goes on folks, it goes on every damn day there are people from the internet meeting, and greeting and either getting hacked to peices be psycopaths or falling in love.
