From my studies of the subject I have ascertained that he was indeed a living breathing man. A man of possibly Celtic origin. There is so much invovement in the subject that I could be writing for days, and only producing theories. All the movies seen today are based upon the romanticism of the stories, but when I watch them I see through the romanticism and actually start to see what might be fact. The belief of the time was a very superstitious one. Alot of symbolism was a major part of life. In this I mean that for example, a sword that endowed its owner mystic powers of strength and virtue. In fact Arthur was an exceptional tactician, in that he was able to plot the perfect strategic advantages over an adversary. The movies even depict this. Where does the part about him being Celtic fit in? Well in many books that I have read, which I will list later, he was stated as having hard stern features and strong eyes. This I mention because people of Roman(later english) orgin are described as having rather soft less detailed features.
