I learned to play the classical guitar at the Watford School of Music,
between the ages of 12(?) and 18. My present guitar is a Japanese one,
bought for me by my parents as a 21st birthday present. Sadly I
don't have time to play as often as I'd like (especially since
Liz doesn't really like hearing the same tune over and over...).
Incidentally, this explains why some of my fingernails are sometimes longer than others (the right hand thumb, first, second and third fingers) - you need them like that to get the proper sound... (if they are all the same length, then I've probably broken one of the long ones digging the garden or something, and trimmed the others to match). |
