It seems that everyone has to have a page of links, and I'm no exception. I hope you will enjoy some of these!

Religion has become more important to me in the past few years. I'm working on a site aboutOrthodox history, but it's taking a very long time. In the meantime, there are some useful links (in no particular order) you may enjoy.

Frederica Mathewes-Green - called the Erma Bombeck of Orthodoxy
Mount Athos - monasteries in Greece dedicated to prayer and worship
Orthodox Christian Information Center - great source of Orthodox info
An Orthodox Confession - enlightening
Orthodox Apologetics - site of links from an Orthodox church
Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America - my archdiocese
Orthodox Church and Bible Study Links - just what it says
Bible Gateway - search the Bible by passage or word
Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople

Have you ever heard (or possibly believed) that any person with knowledge of history or an interest in science can not logically believe in God? Well, I'm a former pharmacy major and now major in history. You can believe what you like, but I like what I believe.

Welcome to the Planets - NASA images and information
The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin - read it!
Internet History Sourcebooks Project - arranged by types of history

George Gray
By Edgar Lee Masters

I have studied many times
The marble which was chiseled for me --
A boat with a furled sail at rest in a harbor.
In truth it pictures not my destination
But my life.
For love was offered me and I shrank from its disillusionment;
Sorrow knocked at my door, but I was afraid;
Ambition called to me, but I dreaded the chances.
Yet all the while I hungered for meaning in my life.
And now I know that we must lift the sail
And catch the winds of destiny
Wherever they drive the boat.
To put meaning in one's life may end in madness,
But life without meaning is the torture
Of restlessness and vague desire --
It is a boat longing for the sea and yet afraid.
