Well! I'm not that much late now, am I? :-)
No reflections this time... I can barely remember what yesterday was like...
It was pretty quiet. Most people assume I'm living in the US-- and I don't necessarily give anything to dissuade that, but the fact is I reside on a small pennisular in South East Asia. But anyway, that's another story! :-) Being in a Third World Country.. well, most Christmas'es are quiet no matter what you do. But I didn't go carolling or have a big party. I didn't see the fireworks or go to the Christmas parade (--there are none). All in all, it was quiet, but not altogether unpleasant.
My aunt gave birth at 4.30 pm that day to a cute baby girl. I haven't seen her yet, but I'm looking forward to the encounter. And I decided to clean up my room a little bit... preparing to re-arrange my stuff for a "new" look. It's coming along, slowly, but surely. And it rained a little, so the weather was lovely. And my family and I started on a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle (a gift).. it's a beautiful picture, but everything is either blue, dark blue, light blue, light purple-blue or something similar! Ahhhhh! [It's still fun. :) ]
It didn't feel very much like Christmas, though. But that's okay. I had my family with me, and I met up with a couple of friends. That's the best way to celebrate, right?
I got back from a vacation to an island not too long ago where things were duty free... so a lot of chocolate was brought back. Particularly.. liquor-filled chocolates.. Mmmm-mmm-good. ;-) Now, with all of that, who wouldn't call it a celebration? Grin. But however you choose to spend Christmas, your day off, or whatever.. I hope it treated you well.
