I have a practice of pediatric dentistry in San Francisco, California, U.S.A.. I have written on health care and contemporary social issues, particularly war and peace. For 25 years, I and my wife Libby have devoted ourselves to practical religion, and to Russian-American, Jewish-Arab, and now Armenian-Azerbaijani dialogue, at home and overseas. I have completed - "Thank God" my wife says - a 300-page, 200-photo hardcover illustrated genealogy of my mother's immigrant family who, with courage, hard work, and love, helped each other immigrate from the old Russian Empire to Duluth, Minnesota in the 1800s, just after the first pogroms.
