Three of the members of last year's Jets Team have graduated and have gone on to higher learning. Ernest Morris is at Yale University (see his home page link below), Adrian Walters is at Rutgers University, and Leland Walcott is at The University of the Virgin Islands on St.Thomas. The remaining two members who are seniors this year have also made it big. Nehemiah Prince is a finalist in both the National Merit Scholarship Program and the National Achievement Scholarship for African Americans. Khalfani Garcia is a finalist in the National Hispanic Scholar Recognition Program, a finalist in the National Achievement Scholarship program for African Americans, and the winner of a commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Program. Both Nehemiah and Khalfani will be listed in the 1996-97 edition of "Who's Who Among American High School Students". Their current photo of 11/15/96 appears below.
