WWW IN THE CLASSROOM

AT

ST. JOSEPH HIGH SCHOOL

The following photos were made on Friday, April 4, 1997 while my classroom was connected online for the first time during my astronomy class. Thanks to my participation in Genentech's Access Excellence program, I was able to hook up the MAC POWERBOOK that they provided to the internet. Then by using an APPLE PRESENTATION SYSTEM and a PANASONIC 32" COLOR TV MONITOR, the whole class could view the WWW at one time. Thanks to my Presidential Award funds I was able to get the large TV monitor and also will be using it to pay for the connect time to my classroom together with help from Genentech.
