Hi! My name is Jessica.
|
I have a lot of favorite colors. They are: baby blue, green, purple, yellow, orange, and black. I'm not a big brown fan… What I like: I love kittens, cats, dogs, fish, birds--well, pretty much all types of living things. I like Snapple. Mango Madness is my favorite! I love to read, shop for Beanie Babies, just plain shop, see my friends and family, watch TV, get on the computer (and Internet), listen to music… all the things a normal 13-year-old does. I love to play the piano and the flute. I've been playing piano for six years and flute for one year. I also like to play a LOT of computer games. I just love the computer. My favorite games are: all the Sims, Aquazone, Marble Drop, Star Trek Borg, Opening Night, Catz, Dogz, Titanic: Adventure Out of Time, Magic Carpet, Test Drive 4, Curse of the Monkey Island 3; if I named all of 'em you'd be here all night. Friends: Sarah LaBarge Melissa Mead Shannon Owens Stephanie Greenwell Elizabeth Garrison Angela We're-such-good-friends-that-I-don't-even-know-her-last-name Sarah Isaacs I have two dogs: Jerry Lee and Honsir. (Dad says you can blame him for those names too.) We found Jerry Lee at my old house… he was all beaten up by two small beagle dogs… Jerry Lee got his name because Dad said Jerry Lee thought he was a "killer"...get it? "Jerry Lee Lewis" is nicknamed "Killer"... (Still with me?) :-p Jerry Lee is a half-Siberian, half-Samoyed. A lady who knew a lot about animals came up to us and said his puppies could've been worth $500 each! Of course… he was neutered by then. You can blame Mom for that, Dad says. Honsir is a miniature schnauzer. He was skinny because Dad found him at the Humane Society (from a puppy mill). Now he's fat (because of me feeding him all those treats) and can't jump high (although he used to be able to jump high) because of his fatness. I have five cats: Sasser, Kzin, Mystery, Cricket, and Mrs. Murphy. Yes, Dad named them all--except Mrs. Murphy and Cricket, which I named. (Dad seems to like naming things!) Sasser is, I guess you could say, my cat. He was at this Humane Society with a sign on his cage that said, "Brought back because owner claims he meowed too much." I, of course, begged for him. He's a big, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat Mackerel Tabby. He's lazy, but he can jump high and can run fast, when he wants to, that is. Every time one of our other animals gets near him he growls and hisses at them. He looks funny when he sits in a chair, because his leopard belly is facing outwards and he looks fatter than usual. He looks like he's Santa Paws or something. (He's 11.) Dad says I can't tell you how Sasser got his name. Kzin is everyone's cat, or maybe his own. He's an Alley Cat. He used to have this big head, and Kyle called him "Fat Basketball Head." Now that he has allergies, (grass or fleas) he has a small head. He's still very active and very, very sweet. (He's 16.) Mystery is my mom's cat. He's an elegant Russian Blue and very affectionate; he loves to lay on people. He has a nickname too--"a vulture with fangs." (I thought of that.) He always stares at people from high places and has these long teeth. Of course, he doesn't have as many fangs because he had to get some pulled… but he still looks like a vulture with fangs! (He's also 16.) Mom almost got another cat though she won't admit it. Cricket is, unfortunately, my cat. My mom got him for my birthday when I was ten… he was so small then. At first, we thought he was a "she" so we named "her" China Matilda. Then when we found out "she" was a he we renamed him Cricket. We often say that Cricket ate China Matilda and that she's in his stomach. His mom was a Mackerel Tabby but we think his dad was some sort of Bengal or something. He's so large but not that fat; he has the same walk and form of a large cat, like a Bengal. He loves to hunt people down and gnaw them to death… of course, he doesn't kill his prey. The reason I called him Cricket is because whenever you come near him he does this weird jump and runs off… much like a cricket. When Cricket's in trouble Mom often calls him "Kitty" because that was his name for quite some time. (He's 3 going on 13 because he's lazy.) Mrs. Murphy is my cat and is another Mackerel Tabby. We found her wondering around outside in the snow on New Years Day. We took her in and I managed to convince Mom to keep her… sometimes I wish I hadn't. She always begs for treats and I always give them to her. When she's in trouble I usually yell "Murphy" and Mom yells "Dainty." If she's good I call her Dainty Mrs. Murphy. (We call her Dainty because she's so, uh, dainty!) Mrs. Murphy was named after a series of books written by Rita Mae Brown. I say "Looavull." Now about my family: My dad, Chuck, works at the local library as the person who manages the computers. It's a wicked job! He also writes and teaches. He is in his "really, really late 20's --ok, 39" He lives near me. We talk every day and go out to dinner a lot. (Dad said he can't cook.) He likes computers, music, baseball, reading, and naming things. He has tons of favorite groups. "Beatles, Jimmy Buffett, and Glenn Miller," he just said, "That's a good start." Every time he turns on the radio he'll say the group's name and the name of the song! I'm still practicing at doing that! My mom, Liz, was born September 19, 1956. She works at TipWorld editing e-mail tips. She lives in New Albany, Indiana with me and Kyle. She likes computers (a computer family!) but lately says she's sick of them. (I don't blame her!) She reads, and likes to make everything neat in my room (I'm messy). She likes my piano playing, -- which my dad says sounds like my Grandmother Welch when he was little. Mom teases me on my flute playing. :-) My brother, Kyle, was born January 15th, 1978. He works at Blockbuster and can get me a lot of movies (not that he does). He lives with Mom and me now. He's this big Star Trek buff! He has this Star Trek quiz game and he NEVER misses a question. I'm not talking about questions like "Who created Star Trek?" but questions like "What episode number has this line?" and questions like that. My dad introduced him to Star Trek. ("Oh, blame me for that!" Dad said.) He has thousands of Star Trek posters on his walls. I forgot what color his wall was because of all the posters! School: I'm homeschooled and loving it! I love to work at my own pace and it's fun. My classmates are evil and annoying animals, er, I mean classmates… Oh yes, my favorite subjects: Science, Social Studies, and Math. I collect Beanie Babies, and I have over 150 which, believe me, is not enough for an avid collector! I think they are so phat! My favorites are Halo, Peace, Sting, Peanut Royal Blue (I don't have him), and many, many others. I also like my fair share of movie stars.
Keanu Reeves Brad Pitt Tom Cruise Will Smith Tom Hanks Kevin Zegers Mel Gibson David Duchovney Harrison Ford Ben Affleck Matt Damon Jonathan Taylor Thomas Ewan McGregor Robin Williams Jim Carrey Cartman (wait a minute) Brendan Fraser John Hannah Female: Sandra Bullock Meg Ryan I have a lot of favorite movies: The Matrix, The X-Files, Men in Black, Independence Day, Enemy of the State, Star Wars: A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Episode 1; Phantom Menace, Raiders of the Lost Arc, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Space Jam, Home Alone 3, Titanic, The Mummy, Babe, Speed, Scream, You've Got Mail, Can't Hardly Wait, Sixth Sense, Stir of Echoes, Aladdin, mainly all the cartoon Disney movies, and many, many more that I can't think of at the moment. (You know, you're trying to think of something and it never comes to you unless it's the middle of the night. I'll think of a million more movies when I'm in bed!) My favorite TV series: The X-Files; I think it is so cool the way they "explore the paranormal universe and find out not everything can be programmed, categorized, or easily referenced." South Park; I like Kenny, Cartman, and Mr. Macky. (Poor Mr. Macky! They always make fun of him.) Friends; funny… need I say more? Of course, Total Request Live; it annoys me when the countdown stays the same and the spots never change… otherwise it's a crunk show. My favorite books are: The Music of the Dolphins All the Sue Grafton novels All the Rita Mae Brown Cat series All the Elizabeth Peters series Many, many, more I can't think of because of the reason above. :-p I want to grow up to be a veterinarian; I'm already looking around for colleges that look good… I know, I know… too early. Either a veterinarian or a marine biologist. I love sports! Baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, swimming, running, volleyball, all that stuff! Of course, that doesn't mean I can play all of them. Hey, I played softball for four years and once shot a basketball into the net backwards! My favorite foods are fettuccini Alfredo, pasta, nachos, cereal, and mashed potatoes. Yum! I love ALL types of music; Rock, Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Classical, Hard Rock, Dance, Pop, anything! SOME (notice "some" is in all caps) of my favorite artists are: Korn TLC Ricky Martin Limp Bizkit Genuwine Blink 182 Silkk the Shocker Powerman 5000 Janet Jackson Michael Jackson (hey!) Snoop Dogg Nas Kid Rock Britney Spears Christina Aguilera 'N Sync LFO Smash Mouth Will Smith Sugar Ray Garbage Mandy Moore Five Sting Brian McKnight Jessica Simpson Busta (Rhymes for all those non-Rap fans) Robbie Williams John Lennon Paul McCartney The Beatles Hootie & the Blowfish Mariah (Carey, even though that's not her last name) Jay-Z Eminem Eve Ruff Ryders Shania Twain The Wilkinsons Alabama 98 Degrees Frank Sinatra Juvenile Offspring Sheryl Crow Garth Brooks Puff Daddy (Too many? I like even more! Mwha ha ha!) I'm trying to catch up to Dad by getting as many CDs as he has… but he has more than 300! Heh, heh, I'll get close soon though… I hope. I wish I had all the CDs on this list, though, and more! *Hint hint* Little things: My favorite places are Florida, France, U.K., Egypt, and Canada. I like books that tell me what life is like, such as 365 Tao and If Life Is a Game, These Are the Rules My mom hates SUVs; guess who loves them? I want either a Rav 4, a Pathfinder, a Ford Explorer, or a Mercedes Benz (all in blue, of course.) My mom says that once I get my license they won't have these kinds of cars… My hobbies: Sleep (But I don't get to do my hobby very much! THANK YOU!) Eating Taco Bell--only one of my fav foods. The only thing I order is a chicken soft taco without lettuce or tomatoes, two nachos, and a small Dr. Pepper. I listen to music I watch TV ("Too much TV," Dad said. I get on the computer I play sports (when I can) Writing Reading I'm not old enough to go clubbin' yet! Just kidding! I made this home page on September 2, 1996, and updated on November 14, 1999. I like e-mail. Just click on this little yin-yang mailbox if you want to e-mail me. This is my Grandfather Glen and his wife Teddie. They came to my recital and brought me that corsage. Oh, this picture is my dad, brother, and me was when I was 5! (Long, long ago…) Well, that's about it. I had better stop! This is my home page, and I like to thank all the little people for helping me. See ya… Later dayz… Peace y'all… Party on… Ciao… OK, OK, I'll go! |
