The Saluda Behavioral Health System is a ASAM Level ONE outpatient treatment program specializing in alcohol and drug services. Our goal is to be a leader in rural health behavioral healthcare services to consumers affected by negative consequences of alcohol and other drug abuse.

THE FOLLOWING OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED AT SALUDA BHS:
COMMUNITY BASED TREATMENT (CBT)
Any persons who are seeking services for problems with alcohol and drug issues.
ALCOHOL DRUG SAFETY ACTION PROGRAM (ADSAP)
This program is a mandated program for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) violators. South Carolina law requires completion of this program in order to be relicensed.
OFFENDER BASED INTERVENTION (OBI)
Individuals who have alcohol or drug related convictions and who are referred by the court or probation/parole officers.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
Business and industries in our area contract for this program to provide counseling services for their employees and employees' dependents.
DRUG COURT (DC)
This program is designed for multiple drug offenders that have a non-violent history. These referrals are made through the 11th Circuit Court Solicitor.
VICTIM ADVOCATE (VA)
Two of our staff members serve as Victim Advocates for the Saluda Police Department. This program is in place to assist victims of a crime.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG SCREENING
Saluda BHS provides a comprehensive alcohol and drug screening service available on site under the direction of a Medical Review Officer (MRO) per DOT requirements.

Other services can be obtained through the South Carolina 301 System, which includes Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP), Detoxification and Residential Treatments.
In addition, two staff members are trained in Critical Incident Stress debriefing.
