Sausage Calzone


1 lb Italian pork sausage (Linguiça)
1 lb Bread Dough
1 cup Mozzarella Shredded
1 cup Marinara Sauce
1 cup Ricotta Cheese
1/2 tspn Oregano Dry
2 cloves Garlic Minced
1 ea Egg
Salt and Pepper A pinch each

Fry sausages. Cut into thin slices. Combine mozzarella, ricotta, egg and seasonings. Divide dough in half. Roll each in a 12" circle. Spread 1/2 cup of sauce, half of cheese mixture and half of the sausages over a half of each dough circle, leaving 1" at the edge. Fold the plain half of the dough over the filling to form a half moon. Moisten and pinch edges of dough to seal well. Transfer to baking sheet and bake for 25-30 min. Serves 8
