Stir Fry Beef
Other meats may be used - pork, chicken, etc.
1 | cup | Beef | Sliced in thin strips |
2 | tspn | Garlic | Chopped fine |
5 | Tbsp | Vegetable Oil | |
8 | oz | Mushrooms | |
4 | oz | Soy Sauce | |
2 | ea | Onions | Chopped |
2 | tspn | Cornstarch | |
4 | ea | Celery Stalks | Chopped |
2 | ea | Green Peppers | Sliced |
Put ingredients in separate bowls. Slice beef and chop onions, celery and green peppers. Mix soy sauce with cornstarch. Heat oil on high heat in large skillet. Flash fry garlic for a few seconds. Add onions and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add peppers and celery and stir fry for one minute. Add everything else. Stir until cooked and sauce thickens. Add more water if too thick, more water/cornstarch mix if too thin. Serve with white rice.
