Strawberry Jam
Nothing beats homemade jam.
2 | lb | Strawberries | Fresh, can be bruised or overripe, yet not mouldy. |
1 1/2 | lb | Sugar |
Remove stems from strawberries, wash and place in large pan (without water). Boil on very low fire until reduced to half the original volume. Mix the sugar in and boil on medium heat for 5 more minutes. Store in sterilized jars.
