White Pudding with Orange

1.5 | cups | Sugar |
Line a 2-quart baking pan with caramelised sugar, made with 1/2 cup of sugar. Beat whites until stiff and gradually add in the remaining sugar. Pour into the pan and bake in Bain Marie in preheated 325F oven for approx. one hour. Remove from oven when completely baked. Allow it to cool at room temperature. Loosen sides with sharp knife and remove from pan.
Orange Sauce:
1.5 | cups | Orange Juice | |
2 | Tbsp | Corn Starch | |
1 | tspn | Orange peel | Shredded fine |
4 | Tbsp | Sugar |
Mix everything and cook for a few minutes. Let cool and pour over pudding when serving.
