Personally, I have no problem with these words and use them in their intended context, as being inclusive of all humankind. Nor should anyone be insulted, upset or otherwise red-in-the-face over the use of the phrase "broad interests". "Broad", for the unenlightened, means having extensive range or scope; it does not refer to women. |
