House Bill No. 1856

An Act relating to the Agricultural Code;
amending 2 O.S. 1981, Section 1301-312;
providing for Arbor Week;
and declaring an emergency.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Oklahoma:

SECTION 1. 2 O.S. 1981, Section 1301-312, is amended to read as follows:

§1301-312. Arbor Week
The last full week in March of each year shall be know throughout Oklahoma as Arbor Week.

Approved March 26, 1982. Emergency.

[Prior to the 1982 amendment creating Arbor Week, Arbor Day was designated in Senate Bill No. 143 (1971), the text of which follows:]

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Oklahoma:

SECTION 312. Arbor Day
The Friday following the second Monday in February of each year shall be known throughout Oklahoma as Arbor Day.
