House Joint Resolution No. 563

A Joint Resolution designating November 16 of each year
as the official Oklahoma State Flag Day;
directing codification; and declaring an emergency.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Second Session of the Thirty-first Oklahoma Legislature:

SECTION 1. State Flag Day
Statehood Day, the 16th day of November of each year, is also designated as the official Oklahoma State Flag Day, and it is recommended that said day be observed by the people of this State by the display of the official flag of State of Oklahoma and in such other ways as will be in harmony with the general character of the day.

SECTION 2. Codification
Section 1 of this Resolution shall be inserted in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 91.3 of Title 25.

Approved April 29, 1968. Emergency.
