Links to AA Sites

This page is small, but I hope to add more.

H.O.W. Recovery Resources Online is the largest AA/Recovery link site I have yet to see. If you are looking for information, you will probably find a site listed there.

I feel grateful to Vicki, the Angel Lady for linking to quite a few of my articles on her site. It is a source for many links to articles and organizations involved in recovery.

The Friends in Recovery site, has a varied range of topics. This is where I found the 83 signs that you may have a problem.

One site I found interesting is The Recovery Home Page. This site has a good amount of information and is well worth visiting, I first went there in Feb, 96. Please note that this site is (I think) a Java enhanced site. When I used an ordinary browser all I got was a page of code on my screen. If I use Netscape, it appears fine.

A site with lots of info can be found here, including the entire text of the Big Book.

In Bill G's article, he mentions The Johnson Institute, a Minneapolis organization involved in helping alcoholics.

Hazelden is an internationally recognized organization for helping the recovering alcoholic.

  • I've had a request from a reader for any info on the problems of quitting smoking while in recovery. Not being a smoker myself, I never faced this problem. If you know of a good site for info, please let me know about it.
