Professional Activities:

Author of Advanced Placement Chemistry Laboratory Manual.
Wrote Chemistry-I and Chemistry-II Advanced Placement curriculum for Garland I.S.D.
Wrote demonstration packet for Van de Graaff generator. This packet is being used by the Walbash Instrument Corporation for use in their teacher demonstration packet.
Attended National Science Teachers Associations national convention in 1993.
Attended Science Teachers Association of Texas Conference for Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST) in 1993 and 1994.
Presented a workshop on the Van de Graaff generator at the Region Ten mini-CAST in 1993 and 1994. Also presented this workshop at the STAT CAST in 1994.
Board of Directors for Region Ten mini-CAST conference for 1994 and 1995. Chairperson of the Luncheon Speakers Committee.
Certified water quality monitor and trainer for the Texas Watch program. This allows me to train and certify my students to participate in the Texas Watch Program.
Attended the Texas Energy Science Symposium for two years, 1990 and 1993.

Train students to perform a traveling science show through-out Garland I.S.D.
