Along the shore drive loop on Mt.Desert Island in Maine
Date: Fri.August 22, 1997
From Aom-Juthamas's house in Willimantic, Connecticut, at the all-time showered, I and Ple-Wilairat passed a detour route in Massachusette, Vermont and New Hamshire. We reached "Bangor", Maine, at about 11pm. In the morning, from Bangor we took I-395 to Ellsworth and Route 3 to "Bar Harbor", a nice place near Acadia National Park. We continued to explore the islands on the driving loop along the shore. The park encompasses of beautiful seacoast, rocks, islands, forest, lakes and mountains for all to enjoy. We went to Thunder Hole and Jordan Pond House but missed a ferry for a whale-seeing because of that bad weather. In the late evening while leaving the islands, we had lobsters for a dinner. |
