Homer

Place where the road ends and the sea begins

On the way to Homer, I passed Anchor Point which is the most westerly highway point of North America. The Homer itself is the most westerly of the America's land called the "land's end", located at the "Homer Spit". Homer offers some of the best fishing for Halibut and King Salmon in the World. Homer has it all adventure tours, world class halibut and salmon fishing, world class brown bear viewing, glaciers, whales, kayaking, art galleries and more. These pictures were taken at the Kachemak Bay and the Spit from the highway pull off and Land's end in Homer, Alaska
