My new personal Web site is alum.mit.edu/www/tbc/. It includes my latest writing and information about my hacks -- the things I do with technology for fun.

Last, here's a little about me. Personal InfoWant to know a little more about my background? Read my bio. (Updated 11/27/99). I have found a passion: motorcycles. In the summer of 1997 I learned to ride a motorcycle, bought one (1982 Suzuki GS750T), put about 1,000 miles on it practicing, drove it to the Promise Keepers Stand in the Gap in Washington, D.C. on the Christian Motorcyclists Association's Ride to the Gap, and drove it home again. 4,300 miles, 13 states, 12 days. Unfortunately, my Suzuki is broken. It lasted a year practically to the day. It looks like oil wasn't getting to one of the cylinders. The camshaft and bearing race are ruined. The shop quoted a repair fee that exceeded what I paid for the bike. I tracked down an engine to drop in and get the bike back on the road. It's sitting in my garage on the original palette. I hope to get the bike running before Spring. Some people have asked, so I put a picture of my GS750T (84Kb) and a larger version of the same picture (344Kb) on the Web.
