What is the name of the tune playing on "Tim's Christmas Page?" I love it, but it is driving me nuts trying to find out what it is. Thanks! Love your page by the way!

[It's called "Christmas Hymn (A Virigin Unspotted)." The songsheet is at http://www.rememberjosie.org/carols/s5599.html. - tbc]

Greetings in the name of the Lord! I stumbled onto this page by accident, I was (still am) looking for info regarding Yohann Anderson songbooks. I looked, got caught up and said, I need to keep this man and his ministry in my prayers. I too was blessed to be at SITG, I was born and raised hristian who expressed it in an Anglican fashion, now am still Christ's own in a Methodist community. I hope to hear back from you and have a new acquaintance to bounce Mertonian or Lewisian philosophy off of. It is not ez. Bless you my brother in our ord and saviour, Jesus Christ..... <>< Alex

Comments:
I appreciated your candid comments concerning your thryoid disease and treatment as i am about to undergo thyroidectomy this week with the rest to follow in five weeks. I found your comments uplifting in many ways, an acurate description of what you went hru, helpful date on survival, inspirational outlook (scripture quote) and discussion of the medication to follow with its ups and downs. Knowing you have been thru this, along with many others, found it only somewhat annoying at worst and have gone back to regular life comforts me. It also makes me grateful that this is the kind of cancer I have! Thanks and blessings to you.

Tim, like you I was disagnosed with follicular thyroid ca (stage2) in April of '98 and had my entire thyroid removed May '98. Since then Ive had 2 rounds of radiation ablation and now am in the "wait and see" stage.Your site came up through the cancerfat gue.org page and its the first one that addresses exactly how I've felt this past year. Not sure if you'll read this but wanted to say thanks for making your page avaiable. Its just good to know someone else has "been there". Good luck... Mike

You´re page is very good, but I think u also should write the text of these three songs: 1)O´Holy Night 2)Amazing Grace 3)that song about chestnuts rolls on a open fire..

[I have lyrics to "O Holy Night". "Amazing Grace" doesn't fit the Christmas theme, and "The Christmas Song" ("chestnuts roasting") is copyrighted by The Carpenters. - tbc]

I enjoyed reading your notes about the Anglican conference in 1994. I heard some tapes of Bishop Michael Marhsall speaking once.

Those songs submitted by Matthew Cowper(correct spelling?) were wonderful. I guess the internet does have some useful purpose though sometimes it seems that it like T.V. might be better uninvented. Again thanks for your trouble. Now, I'm going to look t some of the other songs.

Wanted to thank you for your great selection of Christmas hymns and carols--complete with words AND music. Our small group Bible study used it to hold a mini Christmas worrship service in our home.

I was just curious as to the importance of the "Lent" observance. Each religion handles this period before Easter in a different way. I was also searching some websites for different grace and bedtime prayers and I came across this web page. Have a blessed day.

I found your site this a.m. and enjoyed your article entitled "Ground Rush". Keep up the good work, it's always interesting to me, to read about the end times. Also, if you know much about typology, sp.? do you know what the manger scene I'll call it, i in type? As Jesus was laid in a manger, feeding trough, he is the bread of life, so I figured there was probably more to it, and would love to know! Thanks and God bless you and yours.
