My Wilson Family
My father told me that my great-grandfather, Henry Hansel Wilson was born in Dublin, Ireland and was a copper plate engraver in London and lived
in Bush Hill Park, Middlesex, London. My great-grandmother was connected to the O'Neill family of Ireland (the O'Neill's of the Red Hand) although I haven't been able to confirm whether this is correct.
I haven't had too much luck in expanding the Wilson tree and it wasn't until the fall of 1995 that I tracked down my g-father's birth date but in a few years when I retire I plan on going back to England to do some more research. My mother's side of the family has been most profitable. Her tree is expanding
all the time thanks to my g-grandmother Kate Watson who started the tree, the LDS Family History Center and the Web.
The primary surnames contained in the Wilson tree are; WILSON, MADDISON, JENNINGS, PITTOCK and WHITE
As I said, I have extensive information on my mothers side: WATSON, HANDY, MOSS, PRESTON, SEDGEWICK, COURTENAY, BALDWIN, ROGERS and a number
