The GANA Scholorship Program
ELIGIBILITY
- *Be first generation (i.e.; of illiterate
parenthood) Jr./Snr. High School Scholar including Sixth Form.
- Maintain an overall average grade of 80% and above.
- Originate from Gonjaland.
- Exhibit Financial Need.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Complete APPLICATION
FORM.
- Write short essay entitled
"Solutions to the Educational Problems in Gonjaland"
- Recommendation letter from your current/last
teacher.
- Summit the required materials to
GANA

AWARDS
Awards will be in the total amount of $US 100.00/per year. (paid per academic term). Upon
payment of tuition and fees, the remainder will be given to the awardee for books,
transportation, etc. Awards will be reviewed annually during the summer, though awardees
interested in a second year term scholarship will have to reapply. All beneficiaries of
this award scheme, however, will be required to submit their quarterly (termly) results to
GANA.
DURATION
Award is for not more than two years.
RESTRICTIONS
- No two scholars from the same family will be granted
the award at the same time.
- Siblings of GANA members are not eligible for this
scheme.
- *Six awards will be made every year, of which three
are to be set aside exclusively for the first generation scholars.
