Affirmation of Faith:
When I look down at your baby eyes filled with trust and want to hold my hands because you are scared, I am scared too ... I instinctly reach out and take your hand. With Faith I lift up my hand to hand me divine help and as we ascend believing we are healed
Affirmation of Purpose in Life:
All the things others had chosen to do to make me get to this point in life is for me to hold out my hand which fits the exact measurement of a baby hand that is waiting with Faith to be healed
Serenity of Mind, Silence (that is not harmful),
kindness, self-control and Purity of nature
are the five qualities that makes up

Chapter 17
Chinmayananda's version of Bhagavad Geetha
Daily word from Bible
Have truth as your belt, justice as your breast shield,
zeal as your shoes, faith as your armour (to dart off devils arrows),
salvation as your helmet, spirit (God's Word) as your sword.
FOOTPRINTS
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life ,
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened
at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it:
" Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied:
" My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

Inspirational Quotes
~Introduction~
I am so fortunate to have been surrounded by encouraging, energetic, and enthusiastic people all my life. I would
like to thank my parents to let me think I can have the moon and the stars in the sky; for my uncle who said "Admit
your failures aloud and face shame head-on!"; for Sister Rita and Sister Edmund Mary to have taken a homeless waif
and for giving life and shelter; for Ferdy Mahfood who rescued my soul and for giving a second life; for God "for all
the stance He took for me, for all the joy He brought to my life, for all the wrongs that He made right, for making
every dream come true, for all the love I found in Him, He was the one who helped me out never let me fall, He was
the one who saw it through - through it all".
I read in one book "God takes note of all the tears you shed and wipes them one by one". I know that this is true. I
remember hearing Jesus cried helplessly in a rock alone and prayed the whole night. I wonder "Did He feel helpless?
What went through his mind?" I wish I was there for him to hug him and say don't worry I love you. The truest
inspirational book I have read so far is "The Bible". I want to completely read it one day. Now when I think of
Krishna I feel he is very intelligent, mischievous especially when he greeted his poor friend Kuchela and "what he
must have thought I wonder?" When he preached Arjuna I feel he acted as a therapist and counselor. I have
tremondous respect for Krishna as a Teacher and a hero whom I can look up to. The best
Psycology/Sociology/Philosophy book I have read so far is "The Baghavad Gita". That was the reason I had
Christianity and Hindu sites on my pages. Catholic Father Gregory RamKissoon used to tease me "Believer of
everything and True believer of nothing!" I guess that may be partly true but in truest sense I love all religion and I
feel they make a wondeful map for us to travel through our life. Obviously the route you take is your choice but "all
roads lead to Rome" or rather to God's embrace.
Over the years, whenever I wasn't feeling up to par, I'd read a little something to pick up my spirits. Eventually I
accumulated a collection of wonderfully uplifting thoughts that made me feel good! Now, they're all here, together
in this homepage. The quotes range from ancient times to the present day, but their positive, hopeful message is
ageless. I hope they encourage and challenge you to do something you've always wanted to do but never attempted.
Remember that all things are possible - and optimism is meant to be shared. If you pass the word, you will help
someone else to believe it, too.
I want to thank everybody who shaped my life and helping me in everyway to get here. God bless you all. If you
have any other thoughts or quotes you can add - feel free to contact me.

All Things Are Possible ~ Pass the Word ~
Success is getting up just one more time than you fall down.
"There is no such word as can't - Be an Optimist!"
"Let everyone sweep in front of his door and
the whole world will be clean."
Goethe 19th century
We must have faith in ourselves and what we can accomplish.
Then we can pass on this feeling of empowerment,
enriching our lives and the lives of others as well.
To laugh often and much:
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children,
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty,
to find the best in others,
to leave the world a bit better
whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch,
or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed
easier because you lived.
This is to have succeeded.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
Excellence
Going far beyond the call of
duty, doing more than others
expect . . . this is what
excellence is all about.
And it
Excellence
comes from
striving, maintaining the
highest standards, looking
after the smallest detail, and
going the extra mile. Excellence
means doing your very best.
In everything. In everyway.
Commitment to Excellence
Take fast & make it faster
Take smart & make it brilliant
Believe that no matter how well you do something
you can always do it better.
And chances are you will
Persistance
Nothing in the world can take the place of
persistance. Talent will not, nothing is more
common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius
will not, unrewarded Genius is almost a proverb. Education
will not the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistance & determination alone are omnipotent.
- Calvin Coolidge

Always hold it high.
Look the world straight in the eye.
- Helen Keller
If I had influence
with the good fairy who
is supposed to preside

wonder so indestructible
that it would

Love is patient, Love is kind, without envy.
Love is not boastful, or arrogant.
Love is not ill-mannered nor does it seek its own interest.
Love overcomes anger and forgets offences.
Love does not take delight in wrong, but rejoices in the truth.
Love excuses everything, believes all things, hopes all things, endures
all things.
Love will never end.

day too short for all the
thoughts I want to think,

the more my mind dwells
upon the beauty and the
wonder of the world.

People are always blaming
their circumstances for

In this life we get only those things for which we hunt,
for which we strive, and for which we are willing to sacrifice.

Don't Quit
When things go wrong
as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging
seems all uphill,
When the funds are low,
and the debts are high,
And you want to smile,
but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing
you down a bit-
Rest if you must,
but don't you quit.
Success is failure
turned inside out,
The silver tint
of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell
how close you are,
It may be near
when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight
when you're hardest hit-
It's when things go wrong
that you mustn't quit.
