Never Forget
This poem is by far the most malicious poem I ever wrote. Parts of me look back now on the twisted person I was then and I wonder how I ever survived...My reason for writing this poem might be self-explanitory: the woman I had loved scorned me and used me so bad that I still have scars on my heart to this day...this was my tribute to her, and although I have forgiven her, the poem still remains to remind me to never let myself fall for someone who doesn't love me as much as I love her...God help me...
Never Forget
There once was a time,
When I thought love was true,
There once was a time,
When I thought love was you.
You took me up,
Then you brought me down,
You always seemed ashamed,
When I was around.
You lied to me,
You brought me pain,
I didn't want to admit,
That you were to blame.
But finally now that my vision is clear,
I'll say all those words that I need to hear.
Never more will your lies deceive other men,
When you come around,
I'll let them in,
On the countless horrors,
That they will face.
If they let you in,
There'll be no saving grace.
You hurt me so much,
Now I'll hurt you,
To think that was once,
The last thing I would do.
Your claws are broken,
Your lies are spent,
Your mask is shattered,
Your back is bent.
The last thing that I'll say,
Before I go,
There's one more thing,
That you should know:
Think twice before,
You break a man's heart.
He might just come back,
Just to tear you apart.
Never forget...
